Thrilled to release “Bounce Back Baby” and “Soul Shake” with Michael Des Barres! It’s been a blast working with Michael on these songs. We began writing songs together back in 2021 and slowly but steadily get them out into the world. Stay tuned for more but check out what we’ve been up to so far on Music!
“Still Dirty” is out now on Wicked Cool Records! Hear what people are saying so far…
“Kris Rodgers & The Dirty Gems has created a terrific and consistent LP. Still Dirty has showcased the uniquely dramatic and romantic lead vocals which rock the upbeat numbers and touch your heart when performing a ballad. This is music the world can use.” – Kenny Laguna, Producer (Joan Jett)
“From the opening romp of “She Likes to Party” to the ballad “Across the Galaxy” and the absolutely righteous take on Elton John’s “Take Me to the Pilot,” there’s not a dud to be found on “Still Dirty.” – Portland Press Herald
“Listening to the Portland-based outfit’s new LP, “Still Dirty,” is the sonic equivalent of opening your windows for the first time after a long cold winter.” – The Maine Edge
“…if you love early Rock, Blues, and the music of the 60s and 70s like me, this album will be a welcome antidote to our difficult times.” – Glide Magazine
“All things considered, they make Still Dirty one more of this year’s top new independent albums.” – Phil’s Picks

@scottsorry78 ...I’ve been trying to come up with something to say but what can be said that hasn’t already been said? It’s all true. Scott was the fucking coolest. If you had never seen him play music you’d never guess that he was such a rock star because he was so down to earth and genuine. Our first few times working together seemed like it would be a fun momentary thing, but somehow that turned into years of being involved with Scott’s incredible music. It’s crazy that during the few months I had a practice space to my name in 2014, Scott needed a place to rehearse for When We Were Kings. We had worked a little bit together already but thank you @auramainemark for hooking us up in that way. I’ll be forever grateful our paths linked up for a moment in time. RIP my Dude.
The thing that I’ve been thinking about over the last few days is how much Scott was the best father/husband. His true passion was his family. His world revolved around them, and he was so very proud. My heart is with the boys and @hannirose_sorry. ❤ If you are able to, please check the link and think about donating. Proper link in my bio.
I still haven’t been able to come up with something to say. I can’t imagine how hard this is on Hänni and the boys. My heart is with them. Please donate if you can, link in the bio. ... See MoreSee Less
